“You’re Killing It!”: ’RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice Cheers On Daughter Gia’s New Podcast

As fans and cast members wait for news regarding The Real Housewives of New Jersey, one cast member has a stunning career update. Gia Giudice has announced to PEOPLE that she has started a new podcast, and mother Teresa Giudice could not be more proud of her daughter. Gia’s podcast is no ordinary podcast; it’s a podcast that will discuss her life in the public eye, her family life and an insight into the legal troubles that plagued the Giudice family that many may not know about.\

Gia spoke with PEOPLE at the 2025 iHeart Radio Music Awards about her upcoming podcast, named Casual Chaos. When speaking about Casual Chaos, she expressed her excitement to talk about the important topics, mainly how she handled Teresa’s and Joe Giudice’s divorce and legal issues. She is also ready to discuss relationships, health, and wellness. “I'm excited to talk about all these topics and really connect with my fans on a personal level,” she said.

The young RHONJ star is taking after her mother, who is currently hosting her own podcast Turning The Tables with Teresa Giudice after the discontinuation of her co-hosted podcast Namaste B$tches with Melissa Pfeister. Gia also revealed Teresa’s reaction to her new podcast, and Teresa offered words of encouragement as she praised her daughter. “She's happy for me,” she shared. “She's like, ‘You're killing it and this is going to be your year.’"

Gia Giudice’s ‘RHONJ’ Experience Will Shape The Podcast

Gia made her The Real Housewives of New Jersey debut in 2009 when she was 8 years old, where fans witnessed Gia’s upbringing. In the Bravo reality TV series, fans have seen her grow up with her three younger sisters, GabriellaMilania, and Audriana, navigate her college life and her career. However, Gia had to navigate personal and upsetting matters on the show too, as she dealt with her parents’ divorce, Joe’s court-ordered deportation, and Teresa’s feud with Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga.

As Gia grew up on RHONJshe also became more involved with her mother’s dramas, to the distaste of fans and cast members. As a response to the criticism of Gia’s involvement in the RHONJ feuds, Teresa called out her castmates for being “jealous” of her daughter. Gia also responded to the criticism by saying, "Trust me, I want to be far away from all of this crazy, but, it's also weird that you guys are bringing me up constantly and bringing me into conversations when I'm not your child, so why are you talking about me? It's a hard balance because people are talking about you, but people also view you as Teresa's child. Even though I am an adult now."

During her conversation with PEOPLE, Gia revealed that because of her experience on RHONJ, she has learnt a lot about how she wants to approach Casual Chaos. “I think you learn from your parents,” she stated. “You learn from what you see. You learn from just watching yourself on TV." Gia’s new podcast will also feature conversations with friends and family, talks “I'm definitely going to cover it all,” she said. “I'm also excited to just give the fans a little bit more about me and that fun, lighthearted side of me.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey can be streamed on Peacock.
