Speaking up.
Bachelor Nation met Zac Clark on Season 16 of “The Bachelorette,” and as fans remember, Zac shared his struggle with addiction and journey to sobriety with Tayshia Adams on-screen.
Since his time on the show, Zac has continued to share resources for addiction, mental health, and more through his company Release Recovery Addiction Treatment Center.
Zac celebrated 13 years of sobriety last fall and loves to keep fans updated with his advocacy work online.
This week, the Bachelor Nation star took to Instagram to reveal that he recently spoke on a panel about mental health, alongside YouTuber Laura Lee and podcaster Tay Lautner, the wife of actor Taylor Lautner.
The panel was at the Dear Media Wellness Edit event, and their discussion focused on “Mental Health in The Modern World.”
Zac shared about his experience as a co-panelist, along with photos from the event.
He said, “Happy to be alive, grateful for the opportunity. It was an honor to share the stage with @taylautner and @larlarlee at the Dear Media Wellness Edit last weekend. Our panel was on “Mental Health in The Modern World” and I learned a lot from my co-panelists (they are both very powerful and inspiring women).”
Zac then gave Tay a special shout-out, who invited him to speak on the panel.
He said, “Special thanks to Tay for the invite. The way you are using your platform to help others is awesome.”
Tay commented back on the Bachelor Nation star’s post, saying, “Honored to call you a friend!!!🤍🤍”
We love it!
What a great experience and we’re so proud of Zac’s advocacy for addiction recovery and mental health.
We can’t wait to see what other amazing things he does to help others!
