These two Flyers will be back in the lineup against Utah.
Jamie Drysdale
The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that they have activated defenseman Jamie Drysdale and goaltender Samuel Ersson off injured reserve.
In addition to activating Drysdale and Ersson, the Flyers also announced that both players will return to action for tonight's (Dec. 8) contest against the Utah Hockey Club.
Drysdale, 22, has not played since the Flyers' Nov. 9 contest against the Florida Panthers. However, after missing 12 games, Drysdale is now ready to go and will look to make a positive impact from here.
Drysdale has played in 15 games this season with the Flyers, where he has one goal, three points, and a minus-10 rating.
Ersson, 25, last played on Nov. 11 against the San Jose Sharks. In 11 appearances this season, he has a 5-2-2 record, a 2.70 goals-against average, and a .902 save percentage.
Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Samuel Ersson (33) makes a save against the Florida Panthers during the second period at Amerant Bank Arena.
With Ersson being the Flyers' No. 1 goalie, they naturally missed him while he was sidelined.
