The Sabres were missing three of their important players at practice.
The Buffalo Sabres practiced on Tuesday (Nov. 13), but three notable players were absent: Tage Thompson, Ukko-Pekka Luukonen, and Mattias Samuelsson.
Thompson and Samuelsson both exited the Sabres' most recent contest against the Montreal Canadiens with lower-body injuries. Head coach Lindy Ruff also shared with reporters following the Habs game that he pulled Luukkonen because he worried an "ailment" he suffered at the club's previous practice impacted his play.
With Thompson, Luukkonen, and Samuelsson all being important pieces of the Sabres' roster, it is undoubtedly concerning that they did not participate at practice. At this juncture, updates on their conditions have not been provided yet.
