Matt Barrows of The Athletic was the first to report the connection.

Jake Lynch spent last season as a defensive graduate assistant with the Washington Huskies. He played linebacker with the Stanford Cardinal from 2019 to 2021, appearing in 16 games and recording three tackles over his collegiate career.

Lynch worked in finance during the two years between his playing career and his coaching role with the Huskies.
