Abby Elliott Reveals the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Character Who Inspired Her Feud Scene in The Bear
Actress Abby Elliott just dropped a reality TV bombshell — and it involves Vanderpump Rules. In a recent interview, the Saturday Night Live alum and The Bear star revealed that one of her most intense feud scenes in the FX hit was inspired by a surprising source: a certain drama-stirring VPR cast member.
“When I was prepping for that moment, I found myself thinking about one of the women from Vanderpump Rules,” Elliott shared. “She had this ability to smile sweetly while throwing verbal punches. That energy was exactly what I needed for the scene.”
Though Elliott didn’t name names, fans immediately began speculating online. Could it be Stassi Schroeder, known for her icy clapbacks? Or perhaps Lala Kent, whose sharp-tongued confrontations have become legendary?
Elliott, who plays Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto in The Bear, said she drew from the layered reality TV persona to channel a mix of tension, sarcasm, and restraint. “Sometimes the best inspiration comes from unexpected places,” she added.
