Amanda Holden has been a judge on Britain's Got Talent since it first launched in 2007 and has worn some of her most daring outfits on the hit ITV show

Amanda Holden has confessed that a simple five-word criticism from her daughter is all it takes to make her change her outfit.
The Britain's Got Talent judge is renowned for her bold and glamorous fashion choices on the show. One of her riskiest outfits reportedly sparking over 600 complaints to Ofcom. The 54 year old star revealed that a team of experts scrutinise her outfits before she goes on stage. But she views the show as the "perfect opportunity to take risks" with her style.Nevertheless, Amanda admitted that she can be indecisive about what to wear, with her stylist bringing her numerous options, only for her to change her mind at the last minute.
Amanda, who lives with her husband Chris Hughes and their daughters Lexi, 19, and Hollie, 12, often seeks her family's opinion on her outfits. She told the Sun's TV magazine: "My daughters normally love my outfits, but Lexi is quite critical, like her daddy.

I'm like, 'Do you like this?' And she'll say: 'No!' But it doesn't change my mind if somebody doesn't like my outfit - if I think it's great, I'll wear it."
However, there is one comment from Lexi that would prompt Amanda to rethink her outfit: "Though if Lexi says: 'It makes you look old' then I listen to that."
Amanda Holden, Britain's Got Talent judge, along with Alesha Dixon, received backlash for their choice of attire in the show's final last week, with Ofcom receiving 72 complaints about garments that some viewers found "too revealing for a family show".

In July 2017, Amanda wore a plunging see-through Julien Macdonald dress. It went on to be the most complained about TV moment of the year. The mum-of-two joked the incident was a 'national crisis' at the time.
Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: "I'm always asked about the Ofcom complaints, but every outfit on the show is checked before I leave my dressing room, so I'm never worried. I think people should have fun with fashion!
"I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together... It's all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It's been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up."
Known for her chic appearance, Amanda claimed she ensures she looks her best whenever she leaves home: "There's no way I'd step out in my pyjamas or rock up without a lash. To preserve my own sense of dignity, I always try to look good."
The latest series of Britain's Got Talent concluded recently, with magician Harry Moulding emerging victorious. The Blackouts secured second place with their impressive light performance, but it was Harry who captured the audience's hearts and votes.
