Amanda Holden has become known for her glamorous and risque outfits, with one dress receiving more than 600 complaints after she wore it on Britain's Got Talent
Amanda Holden has revealed a five-word criticism of her outfit choices from her daughter will make her swap what she’s wearing.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge has become well known for her daring and glamorous outfit choices on the show. Her riskiest is said to have sparked more than 600 complaints to watchdog Ofcom.
The 54-year-old even says there is a team of people who examine what she wears before she steps on stage. Amanda however insists the TV talent show is the “perfect opportunity to take risks”.
She does however admit she can be indecisive about what she wears. Amanda explains the stylist brings her “rails and rails” of outfits only for her to change her to pick something and then change her mind shortly after.
The star - who lives with husband Chris Hughes and their daughters Lexi, 19, Hollie, 12 - says her family often offer their own view on what she is wearing. She told the Sun’s TV magazine: “My daughters normally love my outfits, but Lexi is quite critical, like her daddy.

“I’m like, ‘Do you like this?’ And she’ll say: ‘No!’ But it doesn’t change my mind if somebody doesn’t like my outfit - if I think it’s great, I’ll wear it.”
Amanda says there is one critique from her daughter however that would make her go and get changed. She added: “Though if Lexi says: ‘It makes you look old’ then I listen to that.”
Amanda and fellow BGT judge Alesha Dixon both faced criticisms for their frocks at the final of the show last week. Ofcom reportedly received 72 complaints from people who thought they were "too revealing for a family show".
In July 2017, Amanda wore a plunging see-through Julien Macdonald dress. It went on to be the most complained about TV moment of the year. The mum-of-two joked the incident was a 'national crisis' at the time.

Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: "I'm always asked about the Ofcom complaints, but every outfit on the show is checked before I leave my dressing room, so I'm never worried. I think people should have fun with fashion!"
She added: “I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together... It's all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It's been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up."
Amanda admits she likes to “always look good” when she steps out of the house. She added: “There's no way I'd step out in my pyjamas or rock up without a lash. To preserve my own sense of dignity, I always try to look good."
Britain’s Got Talent concluded last week with magician Harry Moulding declared the winner. The Blackouts came second with their electrifying light show, but Harry won the public vote.
