AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 22 RUNNER UP WILL MOSELEY RELEASES NEW SINGLE "MECHANIC" TODAY

   

NASHVILLE, Tenn.March 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- American Idol Season 22 Runner-Up, Will Moseley released "Mechanic" today through 19 Recordings / 19 Entertainment.  The song, about how the power of a woman's love healed a broken down man, was written by Moseley, Kaylin Robinson, and Jaron Boyer (Jason AldeanDierks BentleyChris Stapletonand produced by Alex Maxwell.

"Mechanic is one of the best representations of my songwriting and the stories I want to tell," says Moseley. "It is one of the only songs of love and healing I've ever written, and I couldn't be prouder of how it turned out!".

Moseley captivated the American Idol judges with his raspy drawl and a soulful delivery during his Season 22 audition. Lionel Ritchie called him a "star" and went on to say, "his voice was amazing." He received all yeses from the judges, Ritchie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan, earning a Golden Ticket. He became the runner-up to Abi Carter who won the competition.

Since American Idol, Moseley has gained a dedicated fan base. His release "Everything But Me", a classic country song with a Jimmy Buffett-esque style about going through a rough breakup but taking on a slightly sarcastic viewpoint of the situation, quickly became a fan favorite.

Moseley played his first arena show opening for Zac Brown Band, at their New Year's Eve show at State Farm Arena in Atlanta Moseley will play shows opening for Marshall Tucker Band, and Clint Black. More will be announced soon.
