Ariana Madix is Revealing Which Cosmetic Procedures She's Had Done, Plus Talks Not Wanting to Appear on The Valley

Ariana Madix is a busy woman and has been since before her tenure on Vanderpump Rules ended. Now, the Love Island USA host and restaurant owner is opening up about how she keeps herself youthful and discussing her desire to keep reality television in her past.

As fans of VPR know, Bravo and NBCUniversal announced last year that the show would be getting the reboot treatment. While some of the cast had hoped to return for a new season, Ariana has said that she had already decided she would no longer be on the show. Some of her castmates are now appearing on season two of The Valley, a spinoff of VPR

Recently, Ariana sat down for an interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, in which she covered a wealth of topics, including plastic surgery. She shared, “I just did my first laser treatment. I’ve been very interested in that for a long time.”

Ariana continued, “I keep things at a minimum. So like I do Botox, like, maybe every six months or so. I just got a little bit in my lips because they were getting really crusty on the inside.”

She then said, “But I never go more than .5 at a time. I always go in, I’m like, ‘So, what’s the smallest amount you’d be willing to do?’ Because I never want to look crazy.”

From there, she discussed the lasers and how she has skin laxity, which is a loss of firmness or elasticity. According to Ariana, “The lasers, you know, skin laxity, for me, the fine lines I don’t give a sh** about, but skin laxity is something that I’ve been dealing with, and they were like, ‘Well, because of that, you’re not even a candidate for filler in your face because it’ll just, you don’t have the structure to support it.'” She added that this is why she started laser treatments. Ariana also told the hosts that she would “report back after [she’d] had all of the things.”

Ariana finished with, “If you feel good about doing something, go ahead and do it. And really, at the end of the day, it’s nobody’s business. I know that there’s a lot of speculation when people do or don’t do stuff anyways.” From there, she said she loved the allegations about having extensive work done or being on Ozempic.

In other Ariana news, she recently interviewed with Decider and discussed her future with reality television. When asked if she would ever appear on The Valley, she responded, “No, I don’t think so.” She went on to detail how she avoids accidentally showing up to events where they are filming the show.

Ariana explained, “There have been a couple of times where something is filmed, like a birthday or something. Usually, the text is something along the lines of like, ‘I want you to know you’re invited. But we are filming so…’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah. Happy birthday. I’ll see you later.’”

Regarding whether she watches the show, Ariana admitted, “I didn’t watch last season at all. But then this season, I’ve seen some things on TikTok. And, you know, I do have a number of friends on that show, Kristen included. And there’s clips from like the first or the second episode, and it was just so dark, so it’s tough.”

She continued, “But then I feel like that’s probably how so many of my friends felt. They’d be like, ‘I’m so sorry, I don’t watch Vanderpump Rules.’ And I was like, ‘Please, it’s fine.’ I was like, ‘I get it. It’s a lot. It can be a lot.'”

Fans can catch Ariana hosting season seven of Love Island USA on June 7 on Peacock.
