ove is in the air at Bravo’s Love Hotel, and Ashley Darby is looking for Mr. Right.
From The Real Housewives of Potomac to las playas de Mexico, the former Miss District of Columbia joins GnA business partner Gizelle Bryant on a romantic quest, sifting through a handful of eligible bachelors to (hopefully) find the men of their dreams. Shannon Storms Beador of The Real Housewives of Orange County and Luann de Lesseps of The Real Housewives of New York City will also stay at Bravo’s Love Hotel, looking for love across eight wild episodes.
Ashley has seen many ups and downs over the years as far as relationships go, so perhaps Bravo’s Love Hotel is exactly where she’s meant to be. But first, a crash course on Ashley’s relationship history.
Is Ashley Darby still married to Michael Darby?
No, Ashley and Australian real estate developer Michael Darby are officially divorced, three years after Ashley announced their split in 2022. It was a major storyline in RHOP Season 9, as Ashley let cameras record the ins and outs of the separation, including a sit-down with her divorce attorney.
"Never did I imagine when I started this journey on RHOP that I’d eventually end my marriage. I really made those vows with the purest heart and truest bliss. But alas - life had other plans,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “So, like the nature of news, I’m rolling with the times and writing new headlines."
Ashley met Michael in 2010, when she worked as a bartender at a Washington D.C. bar owned by the divorcé. She and Michael tied the knot four years later. Both continue to co-parent their young sons, 5-year-old Dean Michael Darby and 4-year-old Dylan Matthew Darby.
Ashley Darby’s relationship with Bravoleb Luke Gulbranson
Bravo fans found themselves “shook” when Ashley began dating Summer House and Winter House alum Luke Gulbranson in 2022. The pair officially met at BravoCon and had "a really fun time," and things took off from there thanks to the previous recommendation of a Bravoholic and Andy Cohen playing matchmaker.
Sadly, Ashley and the hockey coach-turned-real estate agent called things off soon after the new year, and despite an attempted friendship, the pair did not remain on speaking terms.
In a January 8, 2023 taping of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the Housewife cited her then “complicated” and ongoing split from Michael for why things could not continue with Luke. But it wasn’t a secret that Michael was reportedly no fan of the union to begin with.
As the divorce continued, Ashley remained open about finding companionship and love. She even admitted to “dipping in the lady pond,” and at the beginning of RHOP Season 9, she was ready to take a few test drives around the dating scene.
But, there was hope in Season 9 after she and Love Hotel guest Gizelle tried their hand (and heart) at speed dating.
Is Ashley Darby still dating Josh Gudenburr?
Things really seemed promising between Ashley and 30-year-old Josh Gudenburr, an eligible suitor who’d caught her eye during a round of speed-dating, as seen on RHOP Season 9, Episode 10. At the time, the Housewife hoped for a potential “life partner” with whom she could share a future.
Josh — affectionately referred to by Wendy Osefo as Jack Harlow — might have been the one.
Ashley gave an update on the January 12, 2025 episode of WWHL, admitting Josh was a “good guy” and that they enjoyed “hanging out.”
“We don’t have labels at the moment,” she told Andy. “We are only banging each other.”
By the time the RHOP Season 9 finale came around, the series reported Ashley and Josh were “casually dating.” But, based on her V.I.P. status with the other Housewives on Bravo’s Love Hotel, it’s safe to say Ashley’s at least weighing her options.
