‘Bachelorette’ Alum Gabby Windey Claps Back at Ex Clayton Echard for Exploiting Sexual History on TV

Gabby Windey clapped back at ex Clayton Echard after he claimed she was “bullying” him when she criticized his dance moves earlier this month.

“Oh, that’s rich,” Gabby, 34, said via a TikTok video posted on Tuesday, April 8. “It’s rich coming from a man who exploited my sexual life on TV without me knowing.”

Gabby slammed Clayton, 31, whom she dated during season 26 of The Bachelor, recalling his choice to share details about their imitate moments with the masses.

“You were intimate with ‘the both of us’ you said on national TV in front of millions without having a conversation with me or any other woman first,” Gabby claimed. “So, you humiliated us in front of each other and in front of everybody watching the TV show.”

She explained that while “people can infer” that a Bachelor couple had sex during their fantasy suite dates, Clayton had no right to tell his other suitors or viewers what transpired behind closed doors.

“Nothing has been said so explicitly [until your season], and those kinds of details should come from a woman,” Gabby added, seemingly referring to Clayton telling season 26 winner Susie Evans on camera that he was intimate with both Gabby and Rachel Recchia on their overnight dates.

Gabby took a long pause before directing her remarks at Clayton. “Oh, I’m a mean girl? As a straight, white man maybe you should do better with your power,” she quipped in the TikTok video.

After the season 26 Bachelor finale, which aired in 2022, Clayton faced backlash over how the season transpired. He was ridiculed for exposing his fantasy suite dates with Rachel and Gabby to Susie and admitting he said he loved them all.

Once Susie was eliminated, Clayton begged Gabby and Rachel to stay through the finale — and meet his parents — despite making it clear he still had feelings for Susie. Clayton ultimately picked Susie, who never left Iceland, during the finale, which didn’t sit well with his runners-up.

During the After the Final Rose episode, Rachel even accused Clayton of telling her he loved her to have sex during the fantasy suites. “That was a surprising comment,” Clayton exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2022, denying that was the case.

He added at the time, “I was shocked that she said that and it hurt that that’s a question that she seriously is considering. … [But] if you don’t believe me, you don’t believe me. And I don’t think there’s anything I can say to convince you.”

While both Gabby and Rachel went on to be co-Bachelorettes, Gabby reignited her feud with Clayton earlier this month.

After seeing some of Clayton’s social media dancing videos, Gabby said on the “Las Culturistas” podcast that his moves will “make you run … you’ll wish you didn’t have eyes.”

“Gabby, what you’re doing is bullying. There’s no other way around it,” Clayton said in a Sunday, April 6, Instagram video in response to Gabby’s remarks. “You’re attacking me for my physical appearance, you’re attacking me for a passion that I love that’s changed my life. It’s unnecessary and it’s not funny.”

He added: “You have such a large platform and you’re setting a really bad example, which is just disheartening. I don’t want people to be scared to try something new because [of] bullying online, like what you’re doing. Do better, Gabby.
