“We’re (sic) the shoes to (sic) heavy? Bc you seem to be having a struggle to lift your feet,” said a fourth fan.
“The walk was not good. Sorry,” said another user, while a separate person said Frankel, 53, “seemed uncomfortable”.
“You kind of like a baby pony learning how to walk! I love you, and you look beautiful,” wrote another netizen.
Later that night, the “Just B” podcast host took to Instagram to explain her walk to online trolls.
“I chose those shoes. L’Oréal said, ‘You can pick anything you want.’ And I chose those shoes ’cause I wanted to be like a giraffe,” she said.
“Like, elongated legs. Like, one of those long-legged creatures that walks a runway and looks like they’re not even the same species,” Frankel added.
The former reality TV star said she “loved” her walk because “that’s what the show was about.”
“It was about not being perfect, it was about being perfectly imperfect and doing what you wanna do. And it’s so easy to sit and watch someone else do something and criticize it,” she shared. “I posted that video because I live for it.”
She added that this isn’t her job and she was “completely” out of her element but embraced “individuality” and L’Oréal’s “worth it” slogan.
Fans backed her up on her Instagram, writing comments like, “You CRUSHED it!!! 🔥🔥🔥” and “You just let it all go! What we see in your face is extreme joy and happiness.”
A third added, “It goes to prove you can be happy, walk & dance with energy, smile & miserable people will still be miserable people” while another added, “It looked like it was totally your element!! Wherever and whatever you do, you just steal the show! Period.”
Plus, celebs like Lindsay Lohan, Flavor Flav, Alix Earle, “RHOD” star Chanel Ayan and more gave their stamps of approval in Frankel’s Instagram comments.
Other stars who walked in the L’Oréal Paris Fashion Show include Viola Davis, Andie MacDowell, Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda and many more.
