Bethenny Frankel’s Bravo Drama Since Leaving RHONY and the Network

Bethenny Frankel

There’s something about Bethenny Frankel. The fan favorite of the Real Housewives of New York always had a way of making her opinions known. Whether she was right or wrong (although usually right), she made sure her voice was always the loudest. Fans resonated with her East Coast mentality. But after leaving the beloved franchise, she started speaking out a lot more about her time at Bravo. Not all followers have been thrilled with her revelations, and even some Bravolebs are finally clapping back.

Bethenny Frankel called out Bravo and Andy Cohen

The mother of one has not forgotten where she came from, but she is also done protecting what she claims is a bogus reality behind reality TV. Over the last few years, Bethenny has taken it upon herself to stand up for the rights of Real Housewives everywhere. Bethenny took to her Instagram to share that “everyone” at Bravo “likely despises me, including Andy Cohen, because it’s very personal and because they have to protect the realm,” she told Rob Lowe on his Literally! podcast. B added, “It’s a very complicated thing I walked myself into whilst also burning bridges and seeming like I’m biting the hand that fed me, but I fed myself. There are a lot of people who didn’t get fed.”

Bethenny’s goal was to unionize reality TV. In her Instagram post, Bethenny shared, “It’s a phenomenon. Featuring women I have pretended to know within a system designed for judgment and conflict, I don’t know these women at all.” She went on to claim, “This medium preys on and profits from the emotionally flawed and damaged.” And while she seemed to have some backing lately, it’s just been Bethenny continuing to fight the fight.

Bethenny Frankel’s Reality Reckoning fell flat

Bethenny and the now-defunct reality reckoning had some intense coverage for a few months. But in the years that have passed, the movement has fallen flat. During her crusade, Bethenny and her legal team issued a letter to NBCUniversal, alleging that a significant number of individuals who had appeared on Bravo had been “mentally, physically, and financially victimized.” But the RHONY star never sued the network. Bethenny did have a small win when SAG offered reality stars membership under their Network Television Code. Seemingly, Bethenny has moved on to other ventures.

She found herself back in the news for claiming that Chanel treated her differently. She also has been very successful in reviewing products like Melissa Gorga’s sprinkle cookies. Sadly it looks like the reality TV reckoning died a slow death just like Bethenny’s podcast, rosé, and plans for a clean makeup line.

Gia Giudice recently responded to Bethenny Frankel’s commentary on Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas

Just because her movement might have fizzled out doesn’t mean Bethenny has kept her opinions of other Bravolebs to herself. After Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas were back in the news for their recent tax lien, B took to social media to share her thoughts. However, Gia Giudice wasn’t a fan. The eldest daughter shared on her podcast, “Bethany Frankel [sic], thank you so much for your sweet video. I hope that $1,000 TikTok paycheck was really worth it. And thanks. But we’re doing perfectly fine over here.”

The former RHONY star responded in her own video, “I don’t know the difference between those girls. I’ve liked different posts of theirs, but I don’t know who’s who.” That was a classic clapback, B. She then went on to say that Gia is “just ill-advised and not educated on this topic. She just doesn’t know, and hopefully, she’ll realize that it’s about being financially literate.”

Dolores Catania also has Bethenny Frankel in her sights

You know it isn’t good when Dolores Catania involves herself in the trouble. The muscle of the Real Housewives of New Jersey called B a “dumpster fire” after her latest comments. Dolores was over Bethenny attacking Bravo. During her appearance on Two Ts in a Pod, she told Tamra Judge, “You have no money if you’re kind of like on and … um trash dumpster fire of a show. She’s actually to me a dumpster fire. She’s a broken girl. I don’t remember her because she’s not memorable,” Dolores said. “I remember her because I’m an empath and I felt a sh*t energy from her. To knock the same platform that made her. It made her.”

Luann de Lesseps always throws some Bethenny Frankel shade

We love the countess. Luann de Lesseps has lost all grasp on her stance on etiquette since she can never refrain from throwing shade at Bethenny. Lu wasn’t thrilled with a lot of B’s opinions. But there are times she agrees with Bethenny, like about the golden era of RHONY. While talking to TMZ, she agreed with B, saying, “It’s not wrong. It is not wrong. Listen, I-I for once, I agree with Bethenny. For once! I mean, life is a cabaret, isn’t it?” However, Lu is better known for the shade. She once told Jenny McCarthy on her podcast, “Bethenny is a lot of fun, she can be really nasty, but she’s very funny.”

The Real Housewives of New York is available to stream on Peacock.
