Fear the Walking Dead may not have reached the heights of The Walking Dead, but one character deserves to return in a future spin-off. Pitched as a Walking Dead prequel detailing the earliest days of the zombie apocalypse, Fear the Walking Dead initially followed Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and her blended family in Los Angeles. However, as the series continued and introduced new characters, it became less about the Clark family and more about a rotating cast of eclectic survivors.
Fear the Walking Dead reinvented itself for its fourth season, when Morgan Jones (Lennie James) made the crossover from The Walking Dead. By this point, most of the Clark family had been killed off, leaving Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) as the only family member who appeared in every season of the show. Fear the Walking Dead certainly had its moments, but it never quite reached the heights of The Walking Dead at its best. Still, Fear the Walking Dead introduced some great characters, chief among them Alicia Clark, who absolutely deserves her own spinoff.

Before the apocalypse, Alicia was a normal teenager who spent time with her high school boyfriend as she prepared to head off to college. Alicia adapted quickly once the zombie infection began spreading, but she never lost her sense of compassion. She cared deeply about her family and easily developed bonds with other survivors she encountered throughout her journey. As Fear the Walking Dead progressed, Alicia had one of the show's best character journeys, taking on leadership roles and becoming a skilled fighter.
In Fear the Walking Dead season 4, Alicia picked up a barrel shroud from an abandoned machine gun, and this became her unique weapon of choice. Throughout the series, Alicia killed enough walkers to rival many of The Walking Dead characters, and she wasn't afraid to take out living humans, as well, if they threatened the people she cared about. After being bitten by a walker, Alicia even amputated her own arm, eventually fashioning a prosthetic hand that doubled as a brutal weapon out of her own arm bones.
Alicia's story ended in Fear the Walking Dead's final episode, as she reunited with her mother and began the journey back to Los Angeles. This leaves the door open for the character to return, and Alycia Debnam-Carey is more than capable of leading her own spin-off. Debnam-Carey was consistently one of the strongest actors on Fear the Walking Dead, and Alicia remains one of the show's most interesting characters. Having her own spin-off would allow Alicia to take center stage, and it would be so much fun to see her interact with other characters from The Walking Dead universe.

Whether or not Alicia ever gets her own spin-off series, she should absolutely make an appearance on another series in The Walking Dead universe. Despite being a great character portrayed by a great actor, Alicia was often sidelined on Fear the Walking Dead or given weak and inconsistent storylines. Fear the Walking Dead should have centered on Alicia's journey, but it rarely did, instead falling into repetitive storylines with less interesting characters and plotlines that often strained credulity. Alicia even left Fear the Walking Dead before the show's final season, only returning for the finale.
As the only member of the Clark family left standing (until Madison's surprise return, anyway), Alicia should have been the protagonist of Fear the Walking Dead. The episodes centering on Alicia were often the show's best, but Fear consistently brought in too many new characters and chose to focus on them instead. An Alicia-centered spin-off would give Alycia Debnam-Carey the chance to show off her full range as an actress, and hopefully tell the Alicia story she wants to tell. Fear the Walking Dead missed its chance to make Alicia the main character, and she definitely deserves her own spin-off.
