Bills' Josh Allen and Khalil Shakir have very different takes on the game-changing play in win over Kansas City Chiefs

Josh Allen reached into his bag, pulled out a Superman cape, tied it on, and took off in the biggest spot of the season against the best team in the NFL, and delivered a run for the ages.

4th and 2, up by two points, two and a half minutes to play. If Allen didn't convert on fourth down, Patrick Mahomes would have had the ball with time to drive for a game-winning field goal. We've seen that story before.

But not only did Allen convert the 4th down, he rumbled, broke multiple tackles, and ran over a guy to punch in a go-ahead touchdown to put them up nine.

Allen was asked about it after the game, and he was nonchalant and business-like as always.

"Yeah, fourth and two. I appreciate coach for trusting us. Really had a play for man [coverage]. Could have checked out of it. You know, they had a pretty good man look. They dropped out into zone again, [and I was] just trying to create and keep the play alive. There was a crease, and I just trusted the feet," Allen said.

His top wide receiver, Khalil Shakir, had a bit more emotion than that.

"I've said this before, but since I've been a Bill, like, when Josh takes off, I find myself sometimes just watching like, 'wow, he's different,' you know?" Shakir said after the game. "And then as that's going on in my head, I'm like 'oh my goodness, let me just follow up the play. When he took off today, I just started yelling, like, I just, I couldn't stop yelling. I mean, I was blank in the head, kind of, you know, blacked out a little bit. Man, he's a dog. He's a great leader, great dude. Love the dude.

I think everyone can relate to Shakir's sentiment, that when Allen takes off, everyone just starts yelling. He's a rare athlete that can beat defenses in a variety of ways, but when Allen decides it's time to use his legs to put a game on ice, few things in the game are harder to stop.
