McMann and Tavares missed the skate on Saturday, while Jarnkrok participated in half of the practice.
Calle Jarnkrok is back, but a few players were missing from Saturday's Maple Leafs non-playing group practice.
The 33-year-old skated on his own for the last couple of days after suffering a lower-body injury earlier this week. He took part in half of Saturday's session, departing the practice after the team switched rinks.
"He's out there with us for a while today, which is good to see," Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube said. "He looked like he was okay. I still gotta get an update on him, so I don't know how it went."
Bobby McMann was absent from the skate on Saturday after participating — and filling in on the power play for John Tavares, who's also dealing with a lower-body issue — in practice the day prior.
Berube chalked McMann's absence up to maintenance.
"Just one of them guys that’s a little sore and banged up a little from camp, but he’s fine," the Maple Leafs head coach said.
Tavares also wasn't on the ice for Saturday's session as he was dealing with the injury he picked up against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday. There was no word on his status following practice.
Berube said Tavares was "sore," on Friday and called the forward's status day-to-day.
The Maple Leafs' playing group started the day with an optional skate. Easton Cowan didn't skate but will play on Saturday in Montreal, per Berube. Dennis Hildeby will get the full game against the Canadiens.
