Bode Goes On the Offensive in 'Fire Country' Season 3, Episode 18 Promo

Bode (Max Thieriot) will always take any opportunity to play the hero, and while sometimes he can be annoying, he does what needs to be done at other times. The penultimate airing of Fire Country Season 3 finds him going head-to-head with the people involved in the Oxalta deal as he and Manny (Kevin Alejandro) threaten to blow it apart. Meanwhile, "The Station 42 crew responds to a routine house fire that escalates into a dangerous situation for one of their own," reads the logline for Fire Country Season 3, Episode 18, "Eyes and Ears Everywhere." Still, in the episode airing on Friday, April 18, Jake (Jordan Calloway) considers leaving the station as tensions reach new highs. CBS released a sneak peek of the episode, previewing these storylines.

Episode 17, "Fire and Ice," found Jake contending with the fact that Station 42 is a family affair, and now that the wayward son has found his way home, his parents are grooming him to take over. Despite all the work he'd put into his career, Jake felt like there was a ceiling at this station, and he had reached it. The video below teases his resignation as he gives Vince (Billy Burke) his two-week notice after realizing the promotion he's waited for is never coming. Meanwhile, Bode and Manny are up to something as they gather all the inmates at the fire camp to discuss the Oxalta deal. When the company's lawyers catch on, a predictable war begins. "Oxalta will ruin us," a panicked Sharon (Diane Farr) says. She was the one who made the deal and is now standing directly in the line of fire if Oxalta decides to shoot. Will Bode submit to the company's forces or push ahead?

Drama Will Have to Take a Backseat in the 'Fire Country' Season 3 Finale

According to Thieriot, the two-hour Fire Country Season 3 finale "has certainly some of the biggest practical action that we’ve done, and the scope of those sequences is pretty massive." The two-parter begins on April 25 at 9 pm and ends at 11 pm. "When a fire erupts at a gas station, Bode and Manny jump into action to protect the patrons and property, on "A Change in the Wind," part one of the two-hour season finale. In part two, "I'd Do It Again," Extremely high winds and dangerous conditions push the Zebel Ridge fire into Edgewater, threatening Three Rock and Walter’s (Jeff Fahey) care facility." Thieriot directed the first part while Bill Purple directed the second.
