Au Revoir, [Spoiler]? Bold & Beautiful’s Hope May Want to Hold Off On the Going-Away Party
We’ve never really thought of Bold & Beautiful‘s Hope as a master manipulator, no matter how hard Steffy has tried to portray her as one. Did the blonde bamboozle Carter into doing her bidding with the Forrester Creations takeover? Nah. While the COO did seem to go from being in favor of axing Hope for the Future to taking over the company at least in part to save it, that felt more like the writers changing their minds midplot than a direct result of his girlfriend’s influence.

But danged if Hope didn’t beautifully play this week’s scenes, in which she let Carter confess having kissed Daphne before saying, “I know… I saw everything!” Well played, young lady. Well played, indeed.
Something tells us Hope was thrilled to hear her beau say that Daphne intended to pack her seductive scents and head back to Paris. Brooke’s daughter might, however, want to stop counting her unhatched chickens. Why? Because even if Daphne’s attempt to seduce Carter failed the first time around, that doesn’t mean she won’t try, try again… or set her sights on someone else.

Zende certainly seemed high on the idea of Daphne whipping up a Hope for the Future-themed scent. (So hyped, in fact, that he seemed to pitch the idea before so much as mentioning it to Hope. Something tells us Carter’s girlfriend won’t be quite as keen on the idea as Zende!)
While some have been a bit put off by Daphne and her smell-it-from-a-mile-away presence, she’s something this show desperately needs: new blood. While Ridge, Taylor and Steffy are busy expressing disgust at the idea of Finn having slept with his adoptive aunt, that relationship isn’t even nearly as scandalous at some of the bed-hopping the Forrester clan has engaged in over the years!
Something tells us that Daphne won’t even get as far as the parking lot — let alone Paris — before fate intervenes. And although that could put Hope’s relationship in jeopardy, many fans seem to think it was on borrowed time from the get-go.
