Britain's Got Talent judges gave a St Helens schoolboy just two words after he smashed his comedy routine. Teenager Jacob Sayer was on tonight's episode of the ITV competition, Saturday, April 12.

This year regular judges Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli and Simon Cowell all took their usual spots on the panel. Jacob, an aspiring comedian was the fourth act in to the show and had the audience and judges standing on their feet clapping when he finished.The 15-year-old said it was his dream to be on the show as it "is the most talented TV show". He added: "I want to be up there with Lee Evans and all the big names."

After his performance, which included musical references to Celine Dion and rapper Missy Elliot, Jacob was given four yeses.

Simon said: "You are stupid funny, which I like. You did really good and the audience liked you." Amanda and Alesha simply said: "Well done."

Fans took to social media to express similar sentiments. Charlotte said: "I love him! Getcha Free cone." Kyle wrote: "The Annie line cracked me up."

Jonathan was flooded with support after the message as he also revealed some sad news in the update as he said his pet cat had sadly died.

He added: "Just yesterday we lost Polly, sister to Pandora and the most energetic 20-year-old cat that one could ask for.

"Both of the girls I spent 2 thirds of my life with crossing the rainbow bridge not long after one another is made a little less painful knowing that I can sing these songs for you, and for them. So for what might be the hundredth time just in this post: Thank you."
