A choir that reached the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent 2023 has announced a UK tour, including a date in Bournemouth.
Johns’ Boys Welsh Male Voice Choir will take their distinctive performances across the country, with a stop at the Bournemouth Pavilion on Saturday, May 24.
The choir is known for its rich harmonies and contemporary twist on the traditional Welsh male voice ensemble.
Their performances combine well-known hits with choral classics, blending genres seamlessly.The tour will feature their popular cover of Calum Scott's Biblical, which they performed during their Britain's Got Talent audition.
The song, their debut single, topped the iTunes Classical charts and has over 21 million views worldwide.
Choir members, who come from all walks of life, promise a "once-in-a-lifetime listening experience."
On their Britain's Got Talent journey, Simon Cowell described them as "a brilliant choir."
Their achievements include being named the 2019 Choir of the World at the Llangollen International Music Festival, making them the first British male voice choir to win the award.
Artistic director and conductor Aled Phillips said: "As a group of men from all walks of life and a wide range of ages, it’s an incredible honour to be on this extraordinary journey, performing to sold-out audiences in some of the most prestigious venues across the UK."
