Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Electric Umbrella are set to perform at the Marlowes Shopping Centre tomorrow ahead of as they warm up for their next appearance on the ITV show.

The Watford and Hemel Hempstead-based charity will be playing from 2pm after earning Simon Cowell's golden buzzer with their initial audition.

(Image: Britain's Got Talent YouTube) Founded by musician Tom Billington and art therapist Mel Boda, the charity was founded after the pair concluded that that there were few opportunities for learning disabled people to take to "the stage".

On March 22, the rock and roll band appeared alongside pupils from Sarratt School to perform their song 'Acceptance'.

After awarding them the golden buzzer, Mr Cowell said:  "I feel a wave of goodness here. Everything about this was good. What it stands for, what you did, for me this was like being in a movie. It was just spectacular."

"We are so proud to be the home of this fantastic charity, and their success is a testament to their group’s talent and hard work that certainly inspires our whole team. We can’t wait to watch them take to the stage and wish them every success in the semi-finals."

The live semi-finals got underway this past weekend and will run weekly until the final on May 31.

At time of writing, it has not been confirmed which semi-final the group will compete in.
