Britain's Got Talent viewers were left unimpressed as they accused the show of being 'fake' after Davina McCall made a shock appearance during an act on the semi-final
Viewers of Britain's Got Talent were left astounded when Davina McCall made a surprise appearance during a performance on the show.
This weekend saw the return of ITV's beloved Britain's Got Talent as it aired its fourth semi-final episode. The previous week's contest had seen vocalist Jasmine Rice and the energetic dance crew Pong Pang securing their places in the eagerly awaited final showdown.
The latest showcase, occurring on Sunday (May 18), welcomed a new batch of performers, all eager to dazzle judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli, not to mention the live studio audience and viewers at home.
The array of hopeful finalists included talents like joker Joseph Charm, vocalist Max Fox, and the dynamic dance troupe Obsequious. Nonetheless, one performance that split opinion was conjured up by illusionist TK Magic.

BGT returned for its semi-final
The magician's act involved having Amanda select a number from one to six; she picked six. Revealing his predictions, TK Magic presented a list of contacts he suspected Amanda had in her phone, with Davina McCall associated with the number six, reports Belfast Live.
What transpired next absolutely blindsided everyone. TK Magic dared Amanda Holden to video call Davina McCall onstage, insisting that Davina would answer her call.

To the amazement of all, his prediction was spot on as Davina answered, leaving the crowd in shock. Amanda excitedly declared, "There she is!" showcasing Davina to the auditorium via her phone.
Following this, Amanda affectionately greeted her with, "Hello gorgeous girl!".
Following his introduction to Davina, TK Magic proceeded with his act, enlisting the help of Davina. However, disgruntled BGT viewers couldn't shake off the feeling that the act was prearranged, given it hinged entirely on Davina answering the call.

One viewer vented: "What an amazing coincidence Davina was all dressed, with her hair and makeup done for a surprise call on a Sunday night! ! ! !" Another remarked: "This is painfully staged."
A third individual questioned: "What are the chances that the magician TK got Amanda Holden to phone her best mate, that she went to visit after a surgery, AT RANDOM, to participate in the magic act. Sitting in her dressing room all dolled up, by chance. Sack this s**t off, and those that believe it."
Another added: "Davina sat with a full face of makeup and hair done as well as being dressed up and chilling in a chair almost waiting for that call on a Sunday night is a bit suspicious."
Britain's Got Talent continues every Saturday at 7:00pm on ITV1.
