Bruce Cassidy points out the obvious about this Golden Knights philosophy

Bruce Cassidy addressed the Golden Knights and their current philosophy. Let's just say changes could be coming next season.

Firing off 47 shots in two games isn't the best idea if you're the Vegas Golden Knights. You're given Stuart Skinner on a steaming hot platter, yet you couldn't muster any offense against the poor guy. The result? Two shutouts.

That's not winning you a Stanley Cup anytime soon. Bruce Cassidy knows this and made his thoughts known to Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal after Game 5.

"We're a team that's not a shoot-first team. That's something we'll look at. You've got to build that in. It doesn't happen overnight, especially if you have guys that like to hang onto pucks and make plays."
Bruce Cassidy

For all of the fans screaming at Mark Stone to "SHOOT! SHOOT THE PUCK," this one's for you. Cassidy has heard your cries and is working on a proper solution to ensure the Golden Knights are more aggressive. Praise the lord, Marc-Andre Fleury, because help is on the way.

But let's look closer at the Golden Knights and see who could take more shots. That's right, folks. We're getting Lil' Jon involved in this post. Get your "Crunk Cups" out and shot glasses ready. We're diving into this one with tennis players by the pool.

Which Golden Knights players need to take more shots?

Let's start by looking at the players in the top ten. This chart will include shooting percentages to show which players have been the most accurate. The top player shouldn't surprise Vegas Golden Knights fans one bit. However, a few players lower on the list will.

People have been clamoring for Jack Eichel to shoot the puck more. Ironically, he's the second-highest shooter regarding shots on goal (233). However, three other players could get the puck to the net more. That starts with the Captain, Mark Stone.

This season, Stone scored 19 goals while tallying 48 assists. His career-high in goals was 26 in 2014-15 with the Ottawa Senators. Golden Knights fans have also urged their Captain to fire the puck more, especially on the top line. Why not do more of that next season?

In theory, Theodore could also shoot the puck more. This season, he created 13 rebounds, 4.8 above his expected total. Getting more shots on goal will generate more second chances for players like Hertl in the slot.

Finally, there's Ivan Barbashev. Before his upper-body injury against the Minnesota Wild in December, the Russian winger had 15 goals. After he returned? He was quiet, scoring eight goals.

More shooting from Barbashev will elevate the top line, especially with Eichel setting him up in transition. In fact, both Stone and Barbashev shooting more would be a suitable alternative to, say, signing Mitch Marner to a huge, lengthy deal.

Regardless, the Golden Knights will look at this season and wonder where it all went wrong. They'll ask numerous questions, such as...

"Were we not aggressive enough?"

"Where did our power play go?"

Perhaps they needed Lil' Jon all along.
