The Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks will once again open their season as opponents in 2025-26.
The B’s made things official on Wednesday, revealing on social media that they’d meet with the familiar early-season opponent at TD Garden at 7 p.m. ET on Oct. 9. It’ll be the second time in the last three seasons that the two sides meet to open things up.
It’s expected to be quite the night in Boston.
The Bruins will not only unveil a new-look roster, but will be rocking new uniforms that were revealed earlier in the offseason, which will surely look phenomenal against any of the other Original Six franchises — including the Blackhawks.
The NHL will release its entire schedule on Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET.
