BOSTON — After not dressing for the first two games of the NHL 4 Nations Face-Off, Jeremy Swayman was in uniform on Monday night.
The Boston Bruins goalie warmed up with Team USA ahead of its game vs. Sweden at TD Garden. Swayman will back up Dallas Stars' Jake Oettinger will start in net. Connor Hellebuyck, who’s been fantastic for the Americans all tournament, is the healthy scratch to rest until Saturday’s final.
It’s unclear if Swayman will play in front of his home crowd.
Team USA punched its ticket to the championship game with its exciting win over Team Canada over the weekend, with Canada earning a trip to the final game with a win against Team Finland on Monday afternoon, which eliminated both Finland and Sweden.
