Bruins Superstar Hits New Milestone With Monster Game

After back-to-back blowout losses, the Boston Bruins bounced back in a big way against the Vancouver Canucks. They defeated the Pacific Division club by a 5-1 final score and improved to a 16-13-3 record. 

David Pastrnak was the biggest reason for the Bruins' win, as he had one goal and four points on the night. Due to his dominant performance, he set a career milestone. 

Pastrnak recorded his 400th career assist on Pavel Zacha's second-period goal against the Canucks. 

Pastrnak's backhand feed was a nice one, too, as he passed it through Elias Pettersson's legs, giving Zacha a partial breakaway. From there, the 2015 first-round pick beat Thatcher Demko with a sweet move.

While Pastrnak is more known for being a sniper, he has become a more significant threat with his playmaking in recent seasons, too. Since the 2022-23 season, he has recorded 136 assists, including a career-high 63 last season.
