This Bruins superstar is playing some spectacular hockey.
If the Boston Bruins hope to make it to the post-season, they will need their top players to step up. At the time of this writing, the Bruins are fourth in the Atlantic Division with a 25-20-6 record. The Tampa Bay Lightning also trail them by just one point and have three games in hand, so the Bruins need as many wins as possible right now.
David Pastrnak is undoubtedly doing his job to try to get the Bruins to win, as he is playing some truly spectacular hockey right now. The 28-year-old winger was a significant reason for the Bruins' 3-1 win against the Colorado Avalanche on Jan. 25, as he had a goal and two assists. With this, he extended his ongoing point streak to seven games.

What Pastrnak has done on his point streak is outstanding. He now has seven goals and 17 points over that span. With numbers like these, he is absolutely dominating the NHL, and the Bruins are benefitting from it big time.
A big reason for Pastrnak's hot streak has been his improved chemistry with linemates Morgan Geekie and Pavel Zacha. No. 88 continues transforming Geekie into a scorer, as the latter now has six goals and eight points over his last seven games. Zacha is also creating offense with Pastrnak, as he has eight points in his previous six contests.
Pastrnak is getting his linemates going, and this trio is easily the Bruins' most dominant right now. If they continue to thrive playing together, it will only help the Bruins' chances of making a playoff push this year.
With this offensive explosion, Pastrnak now has 24 goals and 59 points in 51 games this season. No. 88 is so back, and it will be fun to see how he builds on his incredible stretch from here.
