This Bruins forward is becoming quite the sniper.
The Boston Bruins picked up an impressive 3-1 win against the Colorado Avalanche on Jan. 25. After being down 1-0 at the start of the third period, the Bruins scored three times in a row and secured two much-needed points against a tough Avs club.
Morgan Geekie was a significant reason for the Bruins' comeback win. The 26-year-old scored the Bruins' game-tying goal just 25 seconds into the third period with a beautiful one-timer from a David Pastrnak feed.
Geekie did not stop there, though, as he also scored the Bruins' game-winning at the 5:44 mark of the third period. Pastrnak once again set up Geekie with an outstanding feed, and Geekie snapped it home for his second of the game.

With this impressive two-goal game, Geekie has now scored in three straight games. This has become quite the theme for Geekie, too, as he has six goals and eight points over his last seven contests. This is simply outstanding goal-scoring from the 2017 third-round pick.
Due to his hot streak, Geekie now ranks third on the team with 15 goals and is fourth with 26 points in 46 games. If the 6-foot-3 forward continues to score like this, a contract extension could very well come his way.
