Michael Bunting picked up a goal and an assist in Canada's opening game of the World Championship, a 4-2 win over Great Britain on Saturday in Czechia.

Great Britain scored the opening goal of the game in the first period, then Bunting responded 30 seconds later to tie it:

Bunting's assist was the primary helper on Connor Bedard's first World Championship goal in the second period:

Bunting played 15:25 in the win, skating on the left side of a line with Nick Paul and Bedard. He was credited with one shot on goal and a plus-3 rating.
