Christina Haack Needs to Join 'RHOC'

After sharing her life with the works since Flip or FlopChristina Haack has been the source of headlines thanks to every life event worth discussing. From a trio of romances, shocking marital bombshells, and a bevy of public divorces, her life literally reads like a Bravolebrity. Having recently revealed that she had been “informally” reached out to by The Real Housewives of Orange County, Haack believed she wouldn’t be a great addition. But I disagree.

Having watched her on The Flip Off, Christina Haack is a drama queen. She loves attention, is a magnet for drama, and is never shy to speak her mind. Her life has clearly been fascinating for me to discuss as much as I do. Imagine having further access to her life through a different perspective. Having an already established friendship with Heather Dubrow, who made a cameo on The Flip Off, Haack could easily slip into the RHOC universe.

Christina Haack Claims She's Not Here for Drama

After appearing on SiriusXM's Jeff Lewis Live, the Orange County-based Haack dashed any hope of appearing on the Bravo show. “I actually don’t think I would be that good on it because I’m really not into girl drama,” she added. “I feel like it’d be so boring because I really don’t care.” After Jeff Lewis commented that the ladies of the OC could "gang up on her," she retorted, “That’d be kind of fun. I don’t really mind the ganging up.”

Even while simmering down the heat of a potential casting, fans, and even her new boyfriend, Christopher Larocca, championed the idea. Larocca, in studio during the interview, stated, "She has a very interesting life" and should participate in the Bravo series. Haack claims she wants to stay in her own lane, but long-time HGTV fans know that reality television, no matter what it is, is her lane.

For ten seasons, Christina Haack was Tarek El Moussa's partner in crime on Flip or Flop. With the show focused predominantly on the flipping process, Haack's role was minimal in comparison to her then-husband. Her personality was presented as the wife, later ex-wife, and mother. By the time the show ended, both parties were able to find a new lane on HGTV with their own respective shows.

El Moussa, with his new wife Heather El Moussa, began The Flipping El Moussas, a different yet completely similar series about house flipping. Haack launched Christina on the Coast, an opportunity for her to fly solo and centralize her design skills on a new platform. But through the announcement, lead up, and airing of The Flip Off, it illuminated that fans like myself are eager to learn more about the personalities than are presented on screen.

There was absolutely no way to edit around the real-life drama Christina Haack was dealing with. Once The Flip Off highlighted the drama, it opened up Haack's potential beyond HGTV. It's why a transition over to The Real Housewives of Orange County, in theory, is beyond logical.

'RHOC' Would Give Christina Haack a Runway To Soar

Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa are joined by their mothers on 'The Flip Off.'

Christina Haack needs an outlet to properly share her story. HGTV only allows for specific snippets through a lens that is not as extraordinary as an opportunity like The Real Housewives. She may push back about her desire, but let’s be real, she’s just minimizing the possibility, so the expectations are lower for when it DOES happen. She’ll be a divisive character, but a refreshing one at that.

Christina Haack's story is ripe for Bravo drama. Three husbands. A booming career as a house flipper and designer. An incredible mother. These are the boxes that I check off when I search for future women to star on Bravo. While I may not have seen her in action in lady-on-lady drama, the sass she's displayed on social media proves that she'd fit right in.

While much of her past may not be part of a Housewives present, being on this platform would give Haack an opportunity to speak further into the headlines we've been so intuned to over the years. Thankfully, The Flip Off helped give a resolution about the strained relationship turned positive one between Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack. Her relationship with her second husband, Ant Anstead, is on the upswing, so this would be an opportunity to have a forum to share the details we've missed. And then the Josh Hall of it all.

Let's be honest. I think we all want to hear her new girlfriends speak about that absolute disaster of a situation. And now, her new beau, if she wants to celebrate their love publicly, let's give her the runway to soar. A spin on The Real Housewives of Orange County would allow Christina Haack the ability to control her narrative in a manner she's never had before.

As the original series that launched the mega-hit that The Real Housewives has become, The Real Housewives of Orange County is in a bit of a revival period. Season 18 gave viewers a juicy, yet trainwreck battle between Shannon Storms Beador and Alexis Bellino.

In filming Season 19, Tamra Judge is giving everyone whiplash over whether she's continuing filming or quitting. RHOC does trend on the older side, so Christina Haack would help in that department. And frankly, Heather Dubrow needs a new ally in her corner. Christina Haack, that's where you come in! Christina Haack, we know you love restoring homes. Now, restore The Real Housewives of Orange County to its glory! Christina on the Coast is available to stream on Max.
