Ciara Miller Shares a Surprising Updating on Her Career as a Nurse (EXCLUSIVE)

Before she joined the Summer House crew back in Season 5, Ciara Miller was working as a nurse in Atlanta full-time.

After relocating to New York City, Ciara shifted her nursing schedule to accommodate her new life. In an appearance on Something Went Wrong with Vinny in August 2024, she said that she was working "three shifts every six to eight weeks" to keep her license active.

Fast-forward to 2025, and she's now taking a bit of a "step back" from nursing altogether.

"I'm kind of just trucking along," she said during an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish in February 2025.

She added, "I was [a] PRN [nurse] all last year.""This year, I think I’m taking a step back again, 'cause nursing is, we have a love-hate relationship. ..." Ciara said before laughing. "It's a lot."

Before Ciara decided to take a bit of a pause from nursing, she was a traveling ICU nurse in Georgia. After working on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ciara took some time off in the Hamptons by joining the Summer House cast for Season 5.

There, she bonded with her housemates and got acquainted with the Northeast before eventually making a major change and relocating to New York City. She shifted her schedule again to fit better with her new living arrangement, and her renewed modeling endeavors.

Ciara further opened up about her career on the Something Went Wrong with Vinny podcast.

"You're doing three-month or 18-week assignments, it's chill," she said about working as a travel nurse in Georgia. "But travel nurses historically get really s----y assignments when you're a bedside nurse."

Ciara, who has worked as a traveling ICU nurse, said it can be "hard" to go from work to the Hamptons.

"That's why I can't quit right now," she said.

"I can't detach myself from nursing right now, because I'm like, 'What am I gonna do that feels as fulfilling as critical care?' You know? What's on the other side?" she continued. "I live two different lives."

As mentioned, in addition to working as a nurse, Ciara is a model, and she's also a content creator. She appeared as a cast member on Season 3 of The Traitors as well.
