This is a big one for magicians,” Jack said, “It’s so cool to have been nominated in the category’s first year.”

The ‘most important’ magic competition in the world will bring together 150 competitors and more than 3000 magicians from over 50 countries for six ‘unforgettable’ days.

“I didn’t put myself forward,” Jack said, “I had no idea I had been entered, so it was completely unexpected. I just got an email out of the blue! I was surprised and really chuffed.

“It’s a pretty big thing to be nominated for this prestigious award and it would be an amazing thing to win.”

This year, the ‘Olympics of Magic’ will be hosted in Turin, Italy from July 14 to 19.

(Image: Newsquest)Speaking about creating magic for an online audience, Jack said: “It’s different to live performing. When I’m messing around in my garage, you can’t see your audience and it doesn’t feel real, so its great to have that work recognised, it’s nice to be noticed.”

The winners will be announced live on stage at the FISM ITALY 2025 Closing Ceremony.

“It would feel special to win, especially as it is the first time it has opened to the online creators but it’s exciting even just to be nominated and to be among this calibre of people is unreal.”

Public votes will influence the final decision of a panel of expert judges, who will select the winners through a secret vote.

“The past 18 months has been a wild ride, since quitting my job and going all in, from appearing on Britain’s Got Talent to now, I can’t thank everyone enough who supported me along the way,” Jack said.
