Cіncіnnаtі Bengаlѕ LB Germаіne Prаtt requeѕtѕ trаde

Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Germaine Pratt has requested a trade.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news on Wednesday, citing the departure of former coordinator Lou Anarumo as one of the reasons involved in the request.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor fired Anarumo after this past season’s struggles on the defensive side of the ball. He hired Al Golden, bringing back the former linebackers coach who oversaw Pratt and Logan Wilson during the team’s Super Bowl run a few seasons ago.

Bengals' Germaine Pratt requests trade in NFL offseason shocker

Before the Bengals made any coaching changes, Pratt seemed like a cut candidate due to his $7.9 million cap hit in 2025 and tackling issues this past season.

The Bengals might attempt to honor the request but could find a so-so market given the above. They’ll move forward with Wilson and potentially new arrivals at the position.
