Crystal posted a grip of photos from the event, including a red-carpet snap of her and her husband, Rob Minkoff, posing beside Cynthia and LePrince. According to People magazine, Crystal was among several speakers at the gala and received the Inspiration Award.

“Being an ambassador for this organization has been a privilege,” Crystal wrote in a May 5 Instagram. “During my dad’s illness, the Alzheimer’s Association was our guiding light — a place of information, support, and compassion when we needed it most. A heartfelt thank you to [Cynthia Bailey] for introducing me so beautifully, and to my incredible friends and family who showed up with love and support. Your presence meant everything.”

But Crystal’s award wasn't the only reason for celebration. The gala also went down on LePrince’s 39th birthday. The Dutch musician celebrated the day on Instagram, where he gave “cheers to growth, blessings and unstoppable energy.”

“Another trip around the sun,” he captioned the post. “Happy birthday to me.”

Cynthia was among those who took to the comment section to wish LePrince a happy birthday.

“Thank you My Empress,” he responded to Cynthia.

Cynthia Bailey explains why she kept her relationship under wraps

The couple went public with their relationship in early March after they were spotted together at the Los Angeles International Airport. Cynthia said she had been dating LePrince for nearly a year before confirming their romance.

“I’ve been through marriages, through divorces, and I’ve met someone I really like,” she told TMZ on March 19. “I just really want a fair chance to just kind of get to know him, not in a public way.”

Although the cat was “out of the bag,” Cynthia said she and LePrince had no plans to go Instagram official.

“[We’re] still staying off social media,” she told the outlet. “I personally just don’t feel like social media is a place that promotes love. It’s very toxic, and I’ve been through it.”
