The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, July 23, find Kyle handling his problems like the mature adult that he is—by going to Nikki to snitch on Victor.
Next on The Young and the Restless
Ever since Kyle (Michael Mealor) returned to Genoa City, he has been trying to prove he’s his own man. He is! He is! No one seems to believe him, for some reason. (Not even Harrison [Redding Munsell], we suspect.)
Maybe it’s because his go-to move is to cry about how unfairly he is always being treated.
This time, he scurries over to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) to whine that Victor (Eric Braeden) hired Audra (Zuleyka Silver) to seduce Kyle, and that will make Claire (Hayley Erin) sad, and Nikki should go do something about that. For Claire’s sake. Not because Kyle isn’t capable of cleaning up his own messes. He’s a big boy.
Shut It Down
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was already making scenes right and left even before Damian (Jermaine Rivers) was stabbed. Now that she’s figured out a way to make even this all about her, she’s found new people to question and challenge.
Except Lily (Christel Khalil) isn’t feeling it. When Phyllis snarks, Lily claps back. Lest we forget, this is Drucilla’s (Victoria Rowell) daughter we’re talking about!
One For All and All for Cane
Cane (Billy Flynn) orchestrated his guests’ visit to France perfectly, down to and including (we suspect) the attack on Damian. In order for it to work, he needs to stage-manage every aspect of the show, and that means all of his invisible staff need to be loyal to Cane, and only Cane.
Since Cane considers Amanda (Mishael Morgan) just another puppet, he needs to be certain she would never put anyone else before him. And when it seems like that might not be the case, Cane gets cranky.
