Nothing comes between Danielle Cabral and her man.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 39, unpacks Jennifer Aydin’s body-shaming attack on her husband, Nate Cabral, and why she felt the need to fiercely defend him in the Season 14 finale.
“Listen, when someone gets physical, it’s never right. It’s wrong,” says Danielle, who memorably lunged across a table at Aydin during an all-cast meeting at Rails Steakhouse after the latter cruelly stated that Nate had “man boobs.”
Danielle Cabral tells Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast how Jennifer Aydin’s body-shaming attack on her husband, Nate Cabral, impacted his self-esteem.
In the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 14 finale, Aydin cruelly said Nate had “man boobs.”
The Boujie Kidz founder says she “regrets” her explosive reaction to the comment but notes that the “words hurt,” as Nate, 41, has dealt with body image struggles.
“The words that cut like a knife,” she adds.
Danielle shares that she became particularly incensed when she realized 47-year-old Aydin’s offensive remark mirrored similar jabs made by online trolls.

“This was coming out [from] bloggers. People were saying mean things about Nate. … I would see [them], and we’re like, ‘Oh God, I hope he doesn’t see this tweet or this image of a big-breasted woman and then there’s my husband,’” recalls the mom of two, who shares son Dominic, 9, and daughter Valentina, 7, with Nate.
“He started going to the gym at 4 a.m. He started working out. He started going, ‘Babe, does this shirt make me look OK?’ And I’m like, ‘Aw s—t, he sees it,’” she says.
Danielle quickly became convinced that Aydin — who has been accused of communicating directly with bloggers, though she has denied such activity — was behind the vitriol.
Danielle was perturbed that Aydin’s comment mirrored jabs made by online trolls.
The Boujie Kidz founder says the online vitriol incited insecurities for Nate.
“So when she said that to me, in that split second, I was like, ‘Oh my God, it was you. You’ve been putting it out. You!’ And … it just happened, and I thought of my husband. He’s everything to me,” the blond beauty says while emphasizing that she is “not making excuses” for her behavior.
Earlier this month, the Cabrals shared a steamy photo shoot in response to Aydin’s insult.
In the footage, Nate is seen ripping off a tank top, posing shirtless and even holding a copy of “Housewives” honcho Andy Cohen’s “Daddy Diaries” book.

In an accompanying video, the dad of two shared that he has struggled with his body image.
“You have to have thick-ass skin in the reality world. Growing up, I was a heavy kid. I had such a fear of even being called on in class,” Nate confessed in the video.
“You see people just shame and talk, it’s just like, why?”
Danielle tells “Virtual Reali-Tea” she was overwhelmed by the “love” she received from fans after she shared the shoot via social media.

The Bravolebrity caught up with “Virtual Reali-Tea” while promoting her second “Party Like a Housewife” event.
“I had a year to sit on my response, and this is what I’m going to do, and I had the photographer and the videographer, and it was such a peaceful set. I said, ‘Nate, trust us. We’re going to make you feel comfortable and do right by you,’” she shares.
“And when we saw the first clip of that video, we were like, ‘This is it. This is how you come back, is how you get a bully, is when you do stuff like that.’”
Danielle’s next project is her second “Party Like a Housewife” event, taking place Saturday at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ, with portions of proceeds going to Staten Island’s Sunrise Day Camp.
Danielle’s co-stars Melissa Gorga (center) and Rachel Fuda (second from right) are joining her for the bash.
She is thrilled to let loose with her pals and all the fans who attend the party at Sayreville, NJ’s Starland Ballroom.
“We dance and party the entire night, and it’s so much fun,” she raves, adding that she is “excited” to have co-stars Melissa Gorga and Rachel Fuda join her for the bash.
“The girls are so respectful and kind to me, and they’re grateful. I think that we’re all going into this with one mission, which is to try to make as much money as possible. … That’s the goal.”
“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is available to stream on Peacock.
