Deadly Accusations & Shocking Suspects: Poisoned Damian Points to Cane as Chance Launches Murder Probe

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of July 14-18 reveals that poisoned Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) will accuse Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) before Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) questions some murder suspects.

Y&R’s weekly promo kicks off with Damian feeling ill as he drinks with Cane, so he’ll wonder if maybe Cane’s trying to poison him because of Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

However, Cane will argue that they’re drinking the same stuff and act like he wouldn’t be trying to take himself out, too.

Damian will seem like he’s about to lose consciousness as he sits on a bench.

It’ll lead to Cane calling Damian’s name as the situation goes from bad to worse.

Next, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will get the feeling that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is hiding something during an upcoming encounter.

Nick will act like Phyllis is resorting to stall tactics and will insist he’s fine, but she’ll argue that he isn’t.

Phyllis knows Nick well enough by now to sense when he’s rattled, so she’ll ask what he saw.

Did Nick catch a glimpse of something – or someone – in the maze that’ll leave him with concerns?

As for Chance, he’ll take charge of a lethal investigation as he gathers with many of the partygoers on the train.

Lily will ask if Chance is calling this a murder, so he’ll admit that’s indeed what they’re looking at.

Chance will insist on talking to everyone individually about their activities over the last hour or so.

The news that Chance is going to interrogate them will leave Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) taken aback.

“So basically, what you’re saying, Chance, is we’re all suspects,” Devon Winters (Bryton James) declares in Y&R’s weekly preview video.

Will Damian’s poisoning ordeal prove fatal? Is that the murder investigation that Chance will kick off?

Chance will start with one case, but it’ll lead to another since a different promo recently teased a possible stabbing victim as well.

Could someone go after Chance if he gets too close to the truth?
