Eagles' Jalen Hurts Makes Ring Decision Part of Major Push to 'Win-Now' Mentality

Jalen Hurts của Eagles đưa ra quyết định về chiếc nhẫn là một phần của nỗ lực lớn hướng tới tinh thần "Chiến thắng ngay bây giờ"

There's a common belief among Philadelphia Eagle fans surrounding the team's franchise quarterback, Jalen Hurts.

Some believe that the Super Bowl LIX MVP is a near-psychopath only obsessed with winning.

It's hard to argue against that notion following Hurts' media availability following Wednesday's first training camp practice of 2025.

Just days after accepting the organization's second Super Bowl ring, Hurts was one of the few players seen not actually wearing the big-money reminder of his victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

The reason for that was simple:

Hurts has moved on.

"It was surreal to see it in person," Hurts said. "Almost, not nostalgic, but to see something that you’ve earned. Have a moment to appreciate that one last time. Kind of overdue in terms of when it was supposed to be initially. It was a moment, [but] that moment is behind us.

"I've moved on ... Moved on to the new year."

Hurts' entire mindset has seemingly shifted as a quarterback. The former second-round pick turned All-Pro later acknowledged that his previous loss in Super Bowl LVII has left him only focused on winning for the remainder of his career.

That is something many quarterbacks say, but Hurts is one of the few to actually have accomplished that at the highest level. Now, it doesn't matter what his numbers look like ...

Hurts just wants to win.

The Eagles may have a psycho on their hands. The good news is that Hurts is the best kind - one that is only focused on winning another championship for the city.

He's got his ring. He wants another. Even if he won't wear 'em.
