RHONY's Erin Lichy reflected on a recent emotional moment with her husband, Abe Lichy.
Erin Lichy is revealing where her marriage to Abe Lichy stands today after going through some ups and downs on The Real Housewives of New York City Season 15.
The real estate agent took to Instagram on October 25 to share a carousel of images from her recent outing to the New York City ballet with her husband of 12 years.
Erin wore a white silk halter top and floor-length feather and rhinestone skirt for her date night with Abe, while the attorney wore a tuxedo and bow tie.
"And at one point, while watching the ballet dancers move beautifully to Frank Sinatra, we were just two kids trying to keep it together, missing their [larger-than-life] dads who always did it their way," Erin wrote in the caption of her post along with several broken heart emojis. "Love you [Abe Lichy]."
Erin's father, Eliahu Yitzhari, passed away rather recently. She confirmed the sad news in an Instagram post shared on October 1. Abe's father passed away in 2018.
Abe responded to Erin's touching post in the comments section. "They were who they were so we could be who we are," he wrote.
Erin replied, "Doesn’t make it easier but thank gd I have u by my side."
What happened with Abe and Erin Lichy on RHONY Season 15?
Erin and Abe are in a good place in their relationship nowadays, but things were different for the parents of three when RHONY Season 15 filmed.
As Erin told castmate Ubah Hassan on Season 15, Episode 2, she had just discovered that Abe had sold some of their shared Bitcoin without telling her. Erin learned the truth shortly after she found out that her mom, Dorothy, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
"But the problem was that the truth came out right in the middle of me dealing with my mom and everything that we’re going through, so I wasn't able to lean on him because he betrayed me and I was furious with him and it just added so much more stress," the mom of three said on the show.
Abe explained his side in an interview on the same episode. "I didn’t feel like my wife didn’t deserve to know something, I just didn’t want to add to the stress that she’s dealing with in her life," he said. "If you’re together with somebody, there’s that inclination to protect them, but, in the long run it’s not the right thing to do."
Shortly after the episode aired, Erin provided an update on her relationship with Abe in an Instagram Story. When a fan asked if the twosome was "OK" after the Bitcoin drama, Erin responded, "Yes, cutie" along with the prayer hands emoji.
