Evan Engram Highlights Broncos Players’ Dedication Through 1 Gesture

The Denver Broncos will undergo an offensive upgrade after Evan Engram’s addition. His 963 receiving yards in 2023 prove that he can provide much-needed production from a position the Broncos have struggled in a while.

The two-time Pro Bowler will deliver maximum effort to help a playoff team like Denver perform better in 2025. However, as he details the Broncos’ commitment to their craft, Engram might have ruffled some feathers with his former team, the Jacksonville Jaguars. Conversely, his statement during the post-practice press conference highlighted Denver’s obsession with progress.

“I tell my family, it’s hard to be the first one in the building. I’m used to being the first one. In Jacksonville, I was always the first one; it was really easy. In here, it’s kinda tough. A lot of guys are doing it at the highest level. It’s just a contagious environment, and that we all wanna get better and we all have high standards that we all wanna achieve together,” the veteran entering his ninth NFL season said.

Evan Engram suffered a tough ending in Jacksonville, finishing with 365 receiving yards and a touchdown in a season marred by hamstring and torn labrum injuries. He gets a fresh start with the Broncos, and he feels welcome in this new environment.

“The way that this team connects. They push each other, the way they challenge each other. The way that we bonded. The standard that we have for ourselves. The camaraderie we have, the laughs that we have, it’s an incredible locker room, a lot of great leaders,” Evan Engram said.
