Working at Forrester Creations comes with certain perks, as every Bold & Beautiful fan knows. There’s the private sauna, an HR department which looks the other way with regards to potentially troubling office romances and, one would assume, access to some of the most stylish fashions on the planet.

Which is why what’s happening with Hope of late is more than a little baffling… and has fans voicing their disbelief all across social media. All the hoopla can be summed up in three little words: That. Damned. Dress.

You know the one. If you’re a Bold & Beautiful fan it would be impossible not to know it, given that Hope hasn’t changed out of it for nearly two weeks. And like us, people have… thoughts.

While it might be easy to assume that it’s naysayers wagging their fashion-loathing fingers in the heroine’s general direction, the opposite is true. These aren’t “Logan haters” as they’re often dubbed, but some of Hope’s biggest supporters!

“Hope, love, get out of that burlap dress, dust off the bad vibes and put on something pretty!” urged one self-proclaimed member of #TeamHope on the dumpster fire formerly known as Twitter.

Hope, love, get out of that burlap dress, dust off the bad vibes, and put on something pretty.

I especially want Hope to look gorgeous if she’s causing mayhem at FC, and breaking up with Carter.
My expectations for Friday are too high, lol.#TeamHope #BoldandBeautiful

And that sentiment was being felt by a whole lot of viewers. Bobby Orlando, for example, had this bit of advice where the frock in question is concderned: “Burn it, it’s vile.”

Those commenting over on Reddit weren’t much kinder. “Looks like a combination of bad tweed and burlap,” mused Realistic-Lake5897. “Awful it, awful design, awful length.”

There were, of course, comments from those who clearly aren’t fans of the character, including one who offered up their own take on the old saying “the clothes make the man” or, in this case, woman.

Saying that the outfit looked “ugly and itchy,” Redditor Akaroa318 added, “I guess it’s appropriate for Hope these days, because I find her behavior ugly.”

If there’s a bright side, it might well be that the dress isn’t a uniform, meaning Hope and her portrayer will soon get to slip into something else. But only time will tell if it’s an improvement!
