Every Green Bay Packers legend announcing a draft pick at the 2025 NFL draft

The Green Bay Packers are hosting the NFL draft for the first time in their history, and plan to celebrate it appropriately with multiple franchise legends making an appearance. Here are each of the Green Bay Packers’ legends announcing a draft pick at the 2025 draft.

With the draft being held outside of Lambeau Field, the Green Bay Packers have an opportunity to highlight some of their all-time greats. They have some key needs for their current roster, expected to continue building around Jordan Love, but this draft is also a celebration for the franchise.

While Aaron Rodgers is a little wrapped up elsewhere, there are plenty of other legendary Packers players in attendance.

Kicker Mason Crosby

The Green Bay Packers’ all-time scoring leader, Mason Crosby, will be at the podium during the 2025 NFL draft. Crosby spent 16 impressive seasons with the Green Bay Packers, winning Super Bowl XLV, and leading the NFL in points scored in the 2007 season.

Crosby holds the NFL record for the most consecutive post-season field goals, with 23.

Running back Ahman Green

Green Bay’s all-time leading rusher, Ahman Green, will also announce a pick at the draft. He was traded to the Packers from Seattle early in his career, where he managed six 1,000-yard rushing seasons in seven years with the team. He was hurt in the only year he didn’t get there.

Green was a First-Team All-Pro in 2003, having scored 15 rushing touchdowns and another five receiving. He scored 54 rushing touchdowns in his time in Green Bay, while being named a Pro Bowler for four straight years.

Wide receiver James Jones

The Green Bay Packers drafted James Jones in the third round of the 2007 NFL draft. He was an important role player with the franchise for several years, including a sensational career high of 14 receiving touchdowns in 2012, which led the NFL.

Jones was a part of the Super Bowl XLV team, catching five passes for 50 yards in the win.

Guard/Kicker Jerry Kramer

Jerry Kramer, now 89 years old, was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 1958. Kramer played both guard and kicker for the franchise, winning five NFL Championships and two Super Bowls, at Super Bowl I and II.

Kramer was a five-time First-Team All-Pro, a two-time Second-Team, and a three-time Pro Bowler. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.

Linebacker Clay Matthews

Clay Matthews was the Green Bay Packers’ first-round pick in 2009, quickly becoming a key leader in their defense. Matthews was named to six Pro Bowls, while earning First-Team All-Pro honors in 2010.

The linebacker managed over 500 career tackles, 91.5 career sacks, and six interceptions, while winning Super Bowl XLV with the Packers.

Wide receiver Jordy Nelson

Jordy Nelson is one of the most accomplished receivers in Green Bay Packers history. One of Aaron Rodgers’ favorite all-time receivers, Nelson ranks sixth in Green Bay’s all-time receiving standings, with 7,848 yards.

Nelson caught countless crucial touchdowns for the Packers, and his pairing with Aaron Rodgers is considered one of the best quarterback to wide receiver partnerships in NFL history.

Linebacker Dave Robinson

The Green Bay Packers selected linebacker Dave Robinson with their first-round pick in the 1963 NFL draft. Paired with Ray Nitschke and Lee Roy Caffey, Robinson helped to form one of the best linebacker groups in the history of the league.

The Packers legend won three NFL Championships and two Super Bowls with the franchise. He’s a First-Team All-Pro, a two-time Second-Team, and a three-time Pro Bowler. Robinson is a member of both the Pro Football and the College Football Hall of Fame.
