Fan Uproar Hits General Hospital: Wipe the Kiss, Keep the Fireworks!

Is there a way to get rid of the Drew and Willow debacle?

Fans would like to erase the Drew and Willow story

Fans are becoming increasingly disgusted by the Drew and Willow romance on General Hospital. Some wish it had never happened. There is a way to make their wishes come true.

Just A Dream

Could it all have been a dream? Stranger things have happened. We are approaching the 4th of July and the first anniversary of Willow and Drew’s kiss. But maybe that never happened.

GH could pull off a Dallas/Bobby Ewing storyline. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) wakes up on July 4, 2024, and hears the shower running, assumes it’s Drew (Cameron Mathison), and walks into the bathroom.

When she opens the shower door, instead of Drew, she finds her husband, Michael (Rory Gibson). Willow is, of course, extremely confused, but she soon realizes that everything she thought was the last year of her life was just a dream.

She is back in the Quartermaine Gatehouse, happily married, and her children are living with her and Michael. Willow is grateful that everything she believed was true was just a very long nightmare. She is still besties with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), close with Carly (Laura Wright) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy), and is bonding with her mom, Nina (Cynthia Watros). She has no interest in even kissing her husband’s uncle.

The Others

Of course, there are holes in this storyline. Would the entire town of Port Charles need to reset to one year earlier? Not necessarily.

Some stories can easily remain up-to-date. Willow and Drew had no bearing on Gio’s (Giovanni Mazza) adoption storyline, so that could remain the same. The same goes for characters such as Kristina (Kate Mansi), Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Ava (Maura West), and Molly (Kristen Vaganos). Unfortunately, Sam (ex-Kelly Monaco) can still be dead, and Lulu (Alexa Havins) can still be out of her coma. Everything may not fit perfectly, but this is a soap, so it can be worked out.

The one thing that would need to change is Sasha and baby Daisy. If Willow and Michael are happy, he never would have slept with his ex, but she can still have her happy ending.

Sasha and Cody (Josh Kelly) are not cousins, which fans never liked. The two are now happily married, and baby Daisy is their child.
