Teresa Giudice spoke of the ongoing pause and her potential return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey while in Australia with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Whitney Rose, 38, days ago.

As she promoted the addition of new cast members, shaded brother Joe Gorga, 50, and his wife, Melissa Gorga, 46, for making the show “really dark,” and named which of her co-stars she wants to see back, Teresa, 53, confirmed that she’s gotten no recent updates in regard to the future of the show.

“No. You should ask [Andy Cohen]. Ask Bravo,” she told PEDESTRIAN.TV on July 11.

According to Teresa, she’d like to see new women on the series once filming begins.

“I want it to continue with me on it and maybe a few other housewives that were on last season, and get new blood on the show. I’m all about making new friends, and like, having a good time and not make it so toxic and so dark,” she explained.

Teresa then noted that the show became dark once her family members joined the cast, allegedly behind her back.

“You know, family came on and it’s like, then it got really dark, and there’s no need for that,” she stated.

Looking ahead, Teresa said there were just three wives she’d like to see return from season 14.

“[Jennifer Aydin], [Dolores Catania], and [Jackie Goldschneider],” she revealed.

Teresa, obviously, does not want to see Melissa brought back to the show, nor is she hoping for returns from Margaret Josephs, 58, Danielle Cabral, 39, Rachel Fuda, 34, and Jennifer Fessler, 56, most of whom aligned with Melissa amid their feud last season.

While it is unclear when filming will begin on RHONJ season 15, Andy, 57, said on a June episode of The View that casting was underway.

“We are doing casting with [RHONJ] as well. It was really on a deep pause, and we are actively there, casting, and kind of looking at the future of what that will be,” he stated. “It’s a great franchise and we love it — I just have to reiterate that.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been on pause since its 15th season concluded in August 2024.
