Meredith Marks faced rumors earlier this week that suggested she’d been suspended from filming the sixth season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City following an alleged altercation with Britani Bateman. However, according to a couple of insiders, Meredith was never forced to stop filming the show.
Following a post on X in which Eli’s Mouthing Off suggested that Meredith, 53, got into a “huge fight” with Britani, 53, and called her an “antisemite” and worse, and as another report shared by Bravo Snark Side claimed Meredith was also feuding with Heather Gay, 50, Whitney Rose, 38, and Angie Katsanevas, 51, new details are being revealed.
“Meredith has not been suspended from the show,” an insider confirmed to The U.S. Sun on April 17. “She is not pleased about the rumors and nastiness, pun intended.”
According to the report, Meredith suspects that Britani started the false rumor “to stay relevant.”
“Meredith and Brittani get into some pretty nasty altercations and have some blowout fights but nothing that warrants a suspension,” the source continued, adding that the ladies butted heads over political differences and other personal, “below the belt” topics.
Season six, which is also expected to include the returns of Lisa Barlow, 50, Mary Cosby, 52, and Bronwyn Newport, 39, might also feature claims against Seth Marks. As Bravo Snark Side shared on its Instagram Story, an insider recently suggested that Heather, Whitney, and Angie had brought up cheating rumors against him, leading to their own alleged feuds with Meredith.
Britani’s on-again-off-again flame of season five, Jared Osmond, has also been seen filming for the new episodes, most recently attending a BBQ with Seth and Justin Rose.
In addition to The U.S. Sun’s insider shooting down the suspension rumors, entertainment reporter Brice Sander of Entertainment Tonight also claimed it was untrue.
“I don’t know where this got started… but I’ve been told, Meredith Marks was *not* suspended from [RHOSLC] filming,” he declared on X on April 17.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six will reportedly premiere on Bravo sometime this fall.
