This Flyers forward is reportedly generating interest from three clubs.
Scott Laughton
Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton is a player who will generate a lot of interest as we continue to inch closer to the trade deadline. The 30-year-old center appears to already be generating interest, as multiple teams are now being connected to the Oakville, Ontario native.
According to The Fourth Period, the Toronto Maple Leafs, Los Angeles Kings, and Tampa Bay Lightning are all linked to Laughton.
The Maple Leafs have been connected to Laughton often as of late, and it is easy to understand why. They have been on the hunt for a third-line center, and Laughton would fill that role perfectly for them. He also has another year left on his deal, and the Leafs prefer forwards with term.
When looking at the Kings' lineup, Laughton could also be a solid addition to their group. The Kings have a nice trio of centers in Anze Kopitar, Quinton Byfield, and Phillip Danault, but Laughton could fit in nicely in their middle six on the wing if acquired.
As for the Lightning, Laughton would also have the potential to benefit their middle six. It is no secret that they could use another two-way forward who is physical and chips in offensively, so it makes sense that Laughton is on their radar.
