Former Philadelphia Flyers goalie Brian Elliott is joining the St. Louis Blues organization.

Pennsylvania, USA; Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Brian Elliott (37) makes a save against the New Jersey Devils during the second period at Wells Fargo Center.

Elliott will be in a development role and attend the Blues development camp.

The 39-year-old played 181 games for the Blues from 2011 to 2016. He was a fan favorite in St. Louis but eventually joined the Flyers in 2017. In 130 games for Philadelphia, Elliott had 65 wins with a .902 save % and a 2.86 GAA.

Elliotte made it to the Stanley Cup Final once in his 15-year career. He did it in 2022 with the Tampa Bay Lightning but could not get a ring as the Colorado Avalanche won that season.

The Blues continue to make front-office changes. They recently announced that Alex Steen will take over as the GM in 2026.

According to current Blues GM Doug Armstrong, Steen reached out to Elliott, and Armstrong quickly contacted him to see if he was available. The move was swiftly made to bring him back to the organization.
