While we patiently await the return of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, we’ve got something that will sort of hold us over. Marlo Hampton and Sanya Richards-Ross just announced a new podcast called The Real Close Friends. It’s a duo we didn’t expect to see collaborate, but in a world without RHOA, we’ll take what we can get.

Marlo Hampton and Sanya Richards-Ross are ‘The Real Close Friends’
These days, every fired Real Housewives star wants to start a podcast. Some of them fizzle out after a few months, but Sanya and Marlo are hoping for success. They plan on chatting about celebrity news, memes, fashion, sports, and all sorts of other random topics. Basically, there’s no real theme, just vibes.
“On The Real Close Friends podcast, we will share authentic conversations and the sisterhood that we’ve built over the years,” Sanya shared in a statement to Deadline.
We know you’re probably wracking your brain trying to recall this “sisterhood” that Sanya described. She admitted that it’s not something we really saw on the show. Now that they both are on the sidelines ahead of Season 16, they’re ready to showcase their connection through this new medium.
“Our fans have only seen snippets of our friendship on TV, but this podcast allows us to give them an up close and personal of our chats about pop culture moments, trends, and our personal lives,” Sanya explained.
Marlo added, “Working with Sanya always feels like home. We’ve been through so much together, and now we get to share our unfiltered opinions, experiences, and advice with our listeners.”
The Real Close Friends podcast premieres on October 31 anywhere you get your podcasts.
