Former ‘RHONJ’ Star Shares Big Baby News

Kathy Wakile shared big news with fans. The former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star revealed that her daughter, Victoria, is expecting a baby.

Wakile reposted her daughter’s pregnancy announcement on Instagram on May 11. “We Are So overwhelmed with Joy & Gratitude God Is Great,” the former Bravo star wrote. “A Happy Mother’s Day.”

Wakile, who is Teresa Giudice’s cousin, was a recurring member on RHONJ from seasons 3 to 7 alongside her sister, Rosie Pierri. Fans were also introduced to Wakile’s husband, Rich, and children  Joseph and Victoria, during her time on the Bravo reality show.

Victoria married Teddy Kosmidis in February 2021, according to E! News.

Friends & Family Members Reacted to the Baby News

The pregnancy announcement featured Victoria and her husband painting a nursery wall with the words “Baby Kosmidis ‘25.” Victoria’s sonogram images could also be seen in the back pocket of her overalls, and a positive pregnancy test was also displayed. “Our greatest gift is on the way,” the mom-to-be captioned a carousel of images.

Kathy Wakile is estranged from her cousins Giudice and Joe Gorga, but many others reacted to her daughter’s big baby news.

“Beyond excited for you both #YeahBaby 🙏🙌” wrote Rosie Pierri.

“I knew it!!!!! Congratulations!!!!” wrote former RHONJ co-star Caroline Manzo.

“FANTASTIC news! Lucky baby! They will be exceptional parents and have the best Grandparents ever! Congratulations!!!! 🤗💕👶,” added Jacqueline Laurita.

Fans Have Wondered if Kathy Wakile Will Return to RHONJ

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is on a long hiatus amid rumors of a cast shakeup for season 15. Some fans have wondered if Wakile will make a return to the show. Not only does she own a property on the same street as her estranged cousin Gorga, but she made a surprise appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” last summer.

At the time, host  Andy Cohen explained Wakile’s cameo. “The speculation online was that it was some sort of subliminal signal or we were testing things to see how people reacted,” Cohen said on Sirius XM’s “Andy Cohen Live”  in 2024. “There was no intention behind her visit besides seeing an old friend.  …We just thought it would be fun if we had a, you know, vintage housewife come through the door.”

He added, “Everyone is speculating that it was kind of a soft launch to getting her back. We haven’t even started talking about next season,” he said at the time.
